This medicine is indicated for hyperthyroidism (excessive secretion of the thyroid gland).

Do not take BASDENE 25 mg tablets:

· If you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine, mentioned in section 6.

· If you have certain thyroid cancers.
